Regulatory Compliance Director

The successful candidate would be responsible for managing regulatory compliance functions including facilitating market conduct exams and ensuring timely implementation of new laws and regulations.Responsible for planning and directing policies, programs and initiatives related to regulatory compliance.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs and implements programs, policies and practices to ensure compliance with specific laws and related compliance functions.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

  • In conjunction with management, formulates and establishes company policies, operating procedures, and goals.

  • Monitors compliance standards and coordinates all aspects of implementation including training.

  • Evaluates existing policies and procedures to coordinate internal practices and to ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Creates, implements, and maintains a formal compliance structure for an assigned state(s) which includes setting up the processes and procedures that will ensure compliance and by which it is confirmed that business units are in compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Establishes and maintains a program to prevent, detect and remediate actual or potential compliance risks and issues.

  • Provides subject matter expertise.

  • May interact with state and/or federal regulators.


  • Requires a BA/BS

  • 8-10 years of compliance or healthcare related experience

  • Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to sit onsite in California or Nevada
