Title: Director Systems Support and Programs

Location(s): Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Georgia (will consider other Anthem office locations)

Status: Full-time, Salary, Bonus Potential

Director Systems Support and Programs directs activities within one or more system support areas.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Oversees system configurations for billing, products, providers, and claims.

  • Oversees the relationships between systems support, business units, IT, vendors and other areas to ensure work deliverables are evaluated from end to end.

  • Oversees the prioritization and quality programs; oversees business analysis area to ensure business needs are clearly identified, documented, tested and delivered within scope.

  • Oversees the delivery of projects and ensures development and compliance of project management methodologies; or oversees the delivery of system and soft-skill training and documentation of processes and procedures.

  • Oversee External Claims operational teams and drive process improvement and automation opportunities

  • Manage all government business provider data interfaces and implement new data migrations

  • Management duties include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in related field

  • Minimum of 9 years related experience required.

  • Advanced degree preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and negotiation skills required.

  • Advanced strategic planning and organizational skills required

  • Background knowledge of healthcare provider data and claims adjudication is ideal

  • Experience with Trizetto Facets is ideal

  • Experience with data migrations and interface development is ideal
