Medicare Marketing Communications Manager
Work location: Any Anthem State
Responsible for developing and managing multi-channel member communications for our Medicare program.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Develops member communications strategies, creates engaging and behaviorally motivating content, and manages communications campaigns and materials end-to-end.
Project management, leading cross-departmental meetings and conducting business partner outreach.
Strategic planning, leveraging consumer research, business partner requirements, marketing best practices and an understanding of CMS marketing guidelines.
Material management: develop marketing materials, leveraging our automated traffic management system, managing the work through copy, design, translation, proofreading, vendor certification and CMS filing.
Some data management skills, to create version grids of materials leveraging our data systems and best practices in Access and/or Excel.
Working to create materials inside an automated document creation tool.
Requires a BA/BS degree; 5 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Prior experience in communications and marketing in a health care environment preferred.
Medicare marketing experience a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Digital content creation and/or oversight experience preferred.
Project management skills preferred.
Basic data management (able to build complex material grids) preferred.
Good interpersonal skills required.
Ability to be organized and efficient required.
Ability to quickly acquire and leverage research, product benefit and clinical program knowledge required.
Experience in creating effective, member-focused campaigns required.
Experience with senior audiences in health care are each a plus.
Familiarity with automated traffic management and automated document building tools a plus. (no design or design software skills required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Project a plus.
