The Digital Foundry Lead Engineer will work on a variety of initiatives using emerging technologies as the needs of Health Care rapidly evolve. As an engineer working on the Foundry team, you’ll partner with business and technology teams to design and deliver new features and applications in a fast paced environment.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for development and delivery of rapid innovative initiatives in the HealthCare space.

  • Develop POC's and pilot features and products using new and emerging technology aligned with business strategies

  • Provide systematic analysis on complex needs and resolves functional problems encountered

  • Oversee the quality of complex project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes

  • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews

  • Lead vendor evaluation and analysis

The preferred locations for this position are IN, GA, VA, OH, CA and IL (but other locations will be considered).

Qualifications

Requires an BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute training and 7 or more years related experience; multi platform experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

An ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Application Development & Design experience in technologies including Java, Swift, iOS, MongoDB, Python, Kotlin, CSS, HTML, Node.js, React Native, React

  • Experience with security and privacy standards; e.g. HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO27001 etc.

  • Experience in designing and implementing Healthcare space preferred

  • Strong working experience in database technologies including Oracle, NoSQL

  • Prefer working knowledge of AWS Glue, Redshift & Python

  • Strong experience of working in a fast paced Agile environment and familiar with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, qTest & DevOps tools like Bamboo, BitBucket, GitHub, Quay, Grafana, Kibana, Cloudwatch, Terraform, Cloudformation scripts

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving of business and technical challenges
