Location: San Fransico, CA, and surrounding areas.

The Manager Sales - Medicare is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the resources and efforts of staff to accomplish the sales objectives of the Medicare organization business units. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Manages resources effectively and efficiently to support strategic sales goals.

  • Provides leadership in motivating subordinates to accomplish goals and objectives.

  • Ensures achievement of sales production goals and deliverables for assigned market areas.

  • Monitors the market performance of products and assesses competitors' activities within the assigned office market area.

  • Develops recommendations to Sales Management on the marketplace dynamics including competitors.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS; 5-7 years of sales experience in health care; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. An active/valid Health Insurance license is required. Strong leadership skills required. Healthcare industry experience required. Experience working with providers' groups a plus. Must be versatile with the different Medicare products. Knowledgeable with the San Francisco, CA market, and market competitors highly preferred.
