Must be within 50 miles of any Anthem office with Wallingford, CT; Mason, OH or Indinapolis, IN preferred

Responsible for providing development and maintenance of training programs within the department.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Development of training programs.

Participates in the delivery of training programs.

Performs quality control functions, including the timely and accurate completion of required audits.

Responds to inquiries and system changes.

Identifies, investigates, and resolves audit processing issues, and provides oversight and assistance with procedure guidelines.

Develops and delivers training program for staff.

Provides oversight of the training, coaching, and mentoring of the Quality/Training department staff.

Provides ongoing feedback to the manager regarding the performance of the Quality/Training team.


Requires a BA/BS in Business Administration

3 or more years of related experience

Medicare experience required

Medicare Grievance & Appeals expereince highly preferred

Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

A minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality/Training Specialist preferred.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.

Strong analytical, organizational, planning, problem solving and project/decision facilitation skills required.

Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only Annual Salary Range*: $47,440 - $59,300 Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. * The hourly or salary range is the range Anthem in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
