Senior Strategy Consulting Director
Responsible for leading large engagement teams and high-value, complex projects that may span multiple business units. Works collaboratively in a dedicated internal client management role for one or more business areas.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manages portfolio of strategic initiatives and high-value projects, managing resources and leading teams.
Plays a key role in driving enterprise-wide corporate strategy and innovation initiatives as well as short- and long-range planning processes.
Creates trusted relationships across the organization, including with senior executives.
Influences stakeholders to sponsor initiatives effectively (e.g. through governance, resource allocation, etc.).
Works with team to structure problems and develop storylines; leads problem-solving.
Provides leadership to enable project teams to isolate business issues, design and execute analytics, develop technical content, and develop formal recommendations to senior management.
Leverages research, competitor information, customer data and intelligence on industry trends to better position Anthem for success.
Translates market trends into real business priorities that have tangible impacts on performance.
Develops or oversees the preparation of complex financial and investment models (e.g., ROI analysis) for senior leadership.
Prepares, manages and/or delivers succinct, insightful and influential executive-level presentations.
Leads and/or mentors other consultants or associates in large project deliverable completion while providing guidance and coaching to junior team members.
Provides and grows technical knowledge and subject matter expertise.
Requires BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in management consulting or large-scale project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Master’s or other advanced degree
Healthcare/Managed Care experience
Demonstrates thought leadership, innovative tendencies, and ability to execute on strategy through seasoned relationship building, including positive executive level interaction and an ability to engage in difficult conversations
Experienced identifying competitive threats, defensive measures, and supporting the development of future strategic response and innovation options
Demonstrated experience contributing to the analysis of company needs and supporting the growth of business strategies
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Project Management experience
