Financial Planning and Analysis Director Sr.
Must be able to sit onsite in Indianapolis, IN Atlanta, GA Virginia Beach, VA or Mason, OH.
Responsible for effectively coordinating and communicating the company’s financial results and strategic business direction to Executive Management, preparing management for Board and CEO presentations and meetings, and providing senior management with industry perceptions and trends.
Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
Presents month end financial statements and supporting analysis.
Coordinates annual and quarterly forecasts.
Prepares internal management reports and comprehensive analyses of financial and statistical results to support senior and executive management.
Coordinates with valuation and actuarial on pricing actions and reserve calculations.
Conducts and documents complex financial and business related analysis.
Focuses on business improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.
Position will often handle ad hoc analyses, within and outside, the positions normal scope requiring someone who is a self starter and has a strong desire to learn.
Requires BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; 10 years of progressively more responsible experience in a high level financial analysis position and experience supporting senior management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
3-5 years of FP&A job experience is required
Must be able to sit onsite in an Anthem office listed.
CPA, MBA or Masters degree in Accounting preferred.
