Payment Integrity Product Management - Remote

The Payment Integrity Product Management position will be representing the Payment Integrity (PI) group responsible for ensuring proper payments are made to legitimate providers for reasonable services provided to eligible members. Position will be responsible for driving product development and implementation of new IT capabilities and surrounding business processes for new and improved solutions. This role will directly partner with Senior Payment Integrity (PI) and IT leadership to strategically assess, design and implement both business processes and IT capabilities. This position will directly partner with multiple Software development groups to develop and maintain custom IT solutions that enable the business to drive efficiency and compliance. We use an Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) approach leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as a business liaison between Senior Leaders within Payment Integrity for strategic capabilities, and the IT Leadership in order to operationalize new technologies.

  • Collaborate with business owners to analyze current operational procedures, trends and identify opportunities to improve.

  • Write Business Cases for capital investment for new projects.

  • Support business development of new capabilities and functions by championing the capabilities through various key business partners/functions.

  • Develop and maintain successful working relationship with business partners, development teams, Payment Integrity Leadership and Vendor Partners.

  • Manage ad-hoc project and operational issues that are identified through development and ongoing operations.

  • Provide analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers.

  • May conduct business analysis and recommends technical alternative solutions to management as to course of action that best meets the department's goals.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; minimum of 5 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Career Progression in direct/indirect leadership responsibilities.

  • Payment Integrity experience required.

  • Experience in Product Management strongly desired.

  • Experience in Application Portfolio Management preferred.

  • Organizational, analytical, facilitation, consultation, negotiation, persuasion and project management skills required.

  • Experience maintaining business and system requirements of multi-functional complex system.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills required.

  • This job is within the Business Information Consultant position , and is more focused on higher level technical expertise, mentoring staff in lower job levels, more customer facing, higher level of collaboration, work is higher volume and/or higher risk, and modeling as compared to the Bus Info Analyst Sr job.
