HEDIS Program Manager

Responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more multi-year client facing programs within a business unit regarding HEDIS. Program managers typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of projects or initiatives. A program manager may have responsibility for a piece of a larger enterprise/regional client facing program.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Manages and coordinates the development, approval implementation and compliance with interdepartmental teams and vendor, the implementation of HEDIS to ensure that we meet all specification requirements for HEDIS reporting; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues and assists in researching and resolving issues.

Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends and HEDIS requirements.

Manages relationships with vendors and HEDIS business units to identify data and process improvements to ensure improved collection of HEIDS data.

Interacts with external auditor and ensures we meet all audit requirements for HEDIS medical record review.

Coordinates training related to program; develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of program success.

Coordinates the analysis of HEDIS results including Medicare, and identifies opportunities for improvement.

Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-7 years of managed care experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

HEDIS experience required.

Knowledge of Medicare specific measures a plus.

Knowledge of HEDIS software a plus.
