Responsibilities: Business Analyst II is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. • Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs. • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. • Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues. • Facilitate and lead meetings to review issues, findings and/or recommendations for improvement. • Translate capabilities/features into vetted user stories with acceptance criteria. • Develop and execute test cases. • May make recommendations based upon data analysis.
Preferences: • Experience in Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, and/or JIRA Align. • Healthcare industry experience a plus. • Experience with Agile or Business Process and Analysis methodologies. • Experience writing SQL queries a plus. • Excellent in writing effective documentation including but not limited to requirements, process flow maps, and use cases. • Ability to work independently as well as within a goal-oriented team. • MS Excel and MS Word proficiency. • In-depth knowledge of WGS or Facets Claims processing and/or adjusting a plus.
Requirements: Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
