SHIFT: Day Job
Provides a line of communication between the medical community, subscribers/members, clients and the Company.
Responds to calls from all parties relating to contract administration, pre-authorization and benefit clarification.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information, documents information, activities and changes in the database.
Ensures appropriate guidelines are applied.
Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions or direction to appropriate resource person.
Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
Receives telephone calls and answers routine questions.
Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
Refers more complex inquiries and intakes to more senior level Provider Relations Representatives.
- Requires a H.S. diploma; 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
