The Manager ll GBD Special Programs is responsible for theday to day oversight of operational functions for ECF Choices. Additionally, this individual is responsible for supporting the Director of Special Programs LTSS in oversight of daily operations related to LTSS programs for Adults with Physical Disabilities and Older Adults. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Directs and oversees program operations in support of corporate and health plan management.

  • Directly manages the oversight of the self-direction program within LTSS

  • Directs and collaborates with functional managers to develop and implement the steps necessary to manage LTSS program operations.

  • Participates in cross-functional workgroups created to maintain and develop program improvements, including internal and external LTSS stakeholders.

  • Evaluates program operations to improve efficiency of operations, financial return, customer service, and provider engagement.

  • Develops, communicates, and monitors program schedule, budget, and resources plan.

  • Manages resource utilization to ensure appropriate, person-centered delivery of care to members and adequate coverage for departmental tasks and job responsibilities.

  • Supports the efficacy of person-centered strategies within LTSS, including policy development and implementation.

  • Ongoing monitoring of state and federal regulations to ensure compliance, including the contractor risk agreement with state partners

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires:

  • BA/BS; 6 years of experience, including prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience in managing LTSS programs, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Understanding of IDD population and state policy/legislation/waivers.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in developing, implementing and/or managing programs for Older Adults, Adults with disabilities and/or individuals with Intellectual or other Developmental Disabilities is required.
