The Concierge Service Associate is responsible for assisting national marquee client(s) with the Anthem at Your Service Model. The Concierge Service Associate is the highest point of escalation for customer service, solving high-level escalations with minimal oversight, and interfacing with high profile members of Anthem and our groups.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Understands and communicates the benefit design packages to members as defined by employer at their on-site locations.

  • Interacts with members in a multi-channel environment verbally (e.g., chat, telephone, face to face, video chat) and in written form to ensure appropriate engagement is achieved.

  • Is fully versed in and can explain plan benefit design, resolves claim, benefit, and enrollment issues while making a connection during the contact.

  • Provides updates based on an agreed upon timeframe.

  • Assists in increasing member's engagement into appropriate programs and offerings.

  • Is a resource and educator on health care related inquiries.

  • This position will work virtually. Working virtually is defined as working from home daily with some periodic requests to meet at a local Anthem office for specific training, team engagement, equipment pick-up or support if associates have ongoing IT issues.


Minimal Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma.

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, including excellent multi-channel communication and problem solving skills; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS preferred.

  • Experience in successful resolution of high level/sensitive customer service issues strongly preferred.

  • Travel required.
