Location: Atlanta GA or Indianapolis IN preferred. Will consider Mason OH, Richmond VA, or Norfolk VA for the most qualified applicant.
Responsible for providing enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements, and assuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates and prepares reporting;
Povides stakeholder support;
Provides trouble resolution on complex issues.
Team member responsibilities:
Responsible for providing input to enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements. Assuring that confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets is addressed via documentation and guidance.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Design of policies and supporting documents to mitigate security risk.
Provide input to improvement initiatives related to policy and related documents.
Design and analyze vendor services and information security requirements; maintains relationship with key vendors.
Perform analysis regarding coverage of risks, gaps, and processes in current policy documentation; recommend improvements.
Requires a BA/BS; 5+ years of experience in a risk management/information security role; 10+ years of any related experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) preferred.
Understanding of key security and compliance frameworks including but not limited to HITRUST, NIST, PCI, and laws/regulations.
Knowledge of security principles and methods related to emerging systems and technologies
Ability to understand technology, management, and leadership issues related to organization processes and problem solving.
Ability to answer questions in a clear and concise manner, and ask clarifying questions.
Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
Ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking consultation with other analysts and experts—both internal and external to the organization—to leverage analytical and technical expertise.
