Internal Job Title: Developer Senior

Location: Mason, OH

Responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, assess and deliver continuous improvement/delivery pipelines for our Web Technology Portal

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with engineers and graphic designers,analyzes and classifies complex change request and reviews and evaluatespossible enhancements. Works with development team to develop and defineapplication scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technicalspecifications.

  • Build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure

  • Work closely with development teams to ensurethat solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performanceand operability in mind

  • Codes and maintains complex components of informationsystems and may mentor others.

  • Develops and performs system testing and fixes defectsidentified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validateresults.

  • Aids in integrating activities with other ITdepartments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.Provides on call support and monitors the system and identifies systemdeficiencies.

  • Maintains active relationships with customers todetermine business requirements.

  • RequiresBA/BS degree or technical institute training; or any combination ofeducation and experience, which would provide an equivalentbackground.

  • 3+years experience on one platform, multi database, multi language or multibusiness application, or any combination of education and experience,which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Developmentand testing background

  • ExcellentCommunication Skills both verbal and written.

  • Wideunderstanding of industry leading DevOps tools, and emerging technologiesincluding; Mesosphere, Websphere-Liberty, JIRA, Git, Docker, Splunk,Bamboo, BitBucket (at least 4)

  • Java

  • Experiencewith systems and IT operations

  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reachingacross functional borders

  • AgileExperience – Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
