The Growth and Marketing Team at AIM Specialty Health is hiring a Business Development Sr Specialist to join its group. This crucial team player will be responsible for developing new business areas which complement existing offerings. He/she will work very closely inside our business development process and sales enablement process, such as work on RFPs, proposals, and targeted business/market analysis in support of deal development.

[Preferred locations are Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL but we are open to remote working from other areas]

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: Develops business plans and formulate strategies for both new and existing businesses. Monitors and analyzes product line(s) performance to help determine optimal strategy. Provides research, analysis and recommendations on the external environment as part of the development of strategic plans for the business unit(s). Analyzes major competitor strategies. Identifies and monitors changing patterns of competition and recommends response. Acquires and maintains data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer and competitive conditions and trends pertaining to health insurance/managed care and related services. Assists in RFPs, proposals and other activities to support deal development. May lead or coordinate the activities of lower level staff performing related functions. aluating applicants for all Anthem positions.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS degree; 2 years of business development experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly preferred experience:

-Experience working in the Business Development Process, with a versatility of skills such as proposals, pitch decks, client research, competitive analysis, market analysis, sales enablement, sales support.

-Experience in the healthcare domain or healthcare marketplace is a plus.
