Location: Louisville, KY office

The Medicaid Marketing Ops Director - KY is responsible for establishing and implementing the marketing and digital communication plans for Medicaid consumer engagement outreach. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and manage a creative, integrated multi-channel marketing campaign that builds brand recognition and awareness.

  • Plan and facilitate statewide events to support Open Enrollment, Retention, Office Openings and large opportunities to promote Anthem Medicaid.

  • Responsible for plan branding to include vendor oversight, member website, media team using digital marketing and traditional marketing techniques.

  • Creates member and provider educational collaterals, partnering with shared services.

  • Oversees Member Website feeding constant updates

  • Establish, implement and manage the communication and media campaigns for member and provider engagement and retention.

  • Conducts research and analysis of Medicaid data to include member, provider, community organizations to support targeted media, marketing and branding opportunities.

  • Builds metrics to manage sponsorships aligned to support community partners and events.

  • Partner with Anthem real estate to identify locations for satellite locations, and coordinate and manage the community outreach centers that will include media and branding.


  • BA/BS degree; 7 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Marketing/Communications and brand management preferred.

  • Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care strongly preferred.

  • Experience using Digital marketing techniques.

  • Strong use of Social Media.
