Location: The preferred location for this position is Chicago, IL but we will consider other locations
Learning Experience Designer II
Responsible for analyzing, designing, building, and implementing business-aligned, integrated learning solutions for assigned internal business clients using a variety of techniques and tools. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Collaborates with business partners on expected business outcomes and objectives for a course and/or curriculum
Leads needs analysis and recommends effective learning solutions
Leads and documents requirements, design and development, implementation and evaluation of learning solutions, ranging from business acumen, sales, functional and product knowledge and manager and associate development
Creates online learning modules, live web-based training sessions, instructor-led training, blended learning solutions, playbooks and supporting materials following an instructional design process
Collaborates with subject matter experts, content owners, technologists, and other L&D team members to design and deliver learning solutions
Facilitates train-the-trainer sessions, virtual and classroom offerings, meetings and other events
Contributes to and uses all approved processes, tools and templates for development and reporting
Leads mid-sized learning design and development efforts
Develops project plans and training calendars
Actively maintains all course and curriculum content
Mentors less experienced staff in training best practices
Participates in and contributes to Learning & Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill
Qualifications
Requires BA/BS in related field and 2 or more years training and development experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Knowledge and application of adult learning principles
Experience using Articulate software
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare industry experience
Experience with designing leadership development training
Ability to develop workflows and business procedures
Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only Annual Salary Range*: $$60,732-$75,915 Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. * The hourly or salary range is the range Anthem in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
