Responsible for national growth across GBD, including plan design, creation, management, and strategic planning in coordination and collaboration with multiple matrix partners. Identify and pursue inorganic growth opportunities via Blue and provider alliances. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline for growth, working with regional presidents and state plan presidents to identify growth opportunities in their respective regions and markets.
Oversees, creates, identifies, and leads profit and growth initiatives that yield positive membership growth and positive operating gains as measured in the annual goals.
Responsible for product strategy as it pertains to the line and region of business.
Collaborates and coordinates work with other departments within the business unit, and many shared services partners within the company.
Reports various results through various venues as well as to the leadership team.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 10-15 years of leadership/management experience in health care management, marketing products, and managing significant business results; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Previous P&L and/or project management experience in health care setting preferred. Excellent quantitative, marketing, financial, and strategic skills required. Travel may be required.
