  • Responsible for developing and implementing vision, strategies, and tactics to maximize the overall effectiveness of the Sales Compensation Administration and Licensing and Credentialing (SCLC) teams.

  • Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures both Internal and External sales compensation is paid accurately and timely.

  • Partners with Sales Leaders and HR on interpretation of sales incentive plans.

  • Manages and oversees both the broker appointment and internal licensing and credentialing processes ensuring Anthem remains in compliance with all state and federal requirements.

  • Ensures accuracy in broker onboarding process and timeliness of agency appointments for both internal sales associates and external brokers/agents.

  • Acts as liaison between Sales Leadership and Information Technology to prioritize projects and provide cost estimates on proposed plan design changes.

  • Standardizes business processes with focus on reduction of manual workarounds and increases in automation.

  • Ensures SOX compliance and adequate safeguards are in place to protect Personal Identifiable Information.

  • Develops and manages the annual operating budget.

  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders on annual SIP designs.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS; 7-10 years of related experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
