Consumer Service Associate
Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, this position will require you to work remotely from your home with the flexibility to return to a regular, in-office work environment. As we continue to monitor guidance from CDC and state officials there may be times you would need to report to the office on a monthly or quarterly basis for team meetings or engagement activities.
As a Consumer Service Associate, you will act as a trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquires, responsible for assisting national marquee client(s) with the Anthem at Your Service Model. You will guide our customers to a better healthcare experience, working every day to make healthcare easy by the service you provide. Here’s what a typical day may look like:
From the moment you login, you’ll be focused on proactively resolving our members and/or providers questions and concerns using computer based resources to find answers, interacting with members verbally and in written form.
You will act as trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquiries to include:
interpreting plan benefit design
resolving claim, benefit, and enrollment issues
making a connection during the contact
helping find a doctor via telephone calls, online chats or e-mails.
You will understand and communicate the benefit design packages to members as defined by employer.
You will assist in increasing member's engagement into appropriate programs and offerings

Candidates for these positions should be located in Indianapolis, IN, Roanoke, VA or Denver, CO.
High school diploma or GED equivalent;
5+ years of experience in customer service;
Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background..
Ability to work from home with high speed internet access using an ethernet cord and a quiet and private work space where you can keep your customer's information confidential. You cannot use satellite internet service; the minimum internet speed is 20mbps upload and 5mbps download.
Ability to return to office in one of listed locations when temporary remote work has ended.
Relevant experience for this position should demonstrate excellent communication both verbal and written, problem solving skills, and the successful resolution of high level/sensitive customer service issues.

Colorado Hourly Pay Range*: $19.92/hr - $24.90/hr Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
