Job Description:

This Tech Project Manager Position is performs a dual role on the Product IT team functioning as the teams Work Intake Coordinator and Technical PM performing work common to these roles.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited:

Intake Coordinator:

· Assigns resources to support all phases of project work

· Attends Discovery Estimation meetings to assess for impact and project size

· Ensures estimates are completed on time and provided to the program

· Enters Planning estimates into APM

· Manages all pre-execution project work

Technical Project Manager:

· Technical PM for technical projects impacting our suite of applications.

· Work with the Development team to provide and review Development estimates

· Drive code reviews and Develop and lead Sprint Demos

· Support business personnel to develop release check out plans and assist with the business checkouts

· Ensure high level design & architecture requirements are accurately documented and mapped to approved requirements

· Develop training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.

· Provide timely and accurate status reports

Qualification requirements:

· Experience in highly integrated multi-tier applications

· Requires BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with IT focus degree.

· 3-5 years experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development

· Minimum 5 years of project management experience

· Experience with Agile/Scrum software development framework / Agile Certification Preferred

· Minimum 5-7 years’ experience working with software delivery methodologies.

· Hands on experience with JIRA.

· Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem solving skills required.

· Experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, solving problems, resolving conflicts, and managing resources in a matrix environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

· Excellent organizational and planning skills

· Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines

· Facilitates internal and external communications (e.g. task coordination, progress tracking/reporting, dependency management).

· Keeps external stakeholders, collaborates, and other interested parties are well-informed on team progress and activities.

· Ensure team is well-informed on internal and external initiatives and activities.
