Strategy Consulting Director
Responsible for leading complex, large-scale strategy projects that may cross multiple business units.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Leads cross-functional teams on high visibility, large scale projects from ideation through execution.
Works independently to partner with business leaders and teams to scope, define and coordinate initiatives in support of business strategy and innovation.
Structures problems and develops storylines; leads problem-solving.
Facilitates large, cross-functional working sessions and meetings to align strategy, planning and execution across relevant business units.
Creates trusted relationships across the organization, including positive executive level interactions.
Provides insight and support to senior leaders in the development and alignment of initiatives to advance strategic goals and priorities.
Leads detailed market analysis to drive growth for the corporation.
Leverages research, competitor information, customer data and intelligence on industry trends to better position Anthem for success.
Translates market trends into real business priorities that have tangible impacts on performance.
Develops and/or manages complex financial and investment models (e.g., ROI analysis).
Quickly and efficiently produces high-quality presentations and other deliverables.
Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
Provides and grows technical knowledge and subject matter expertise.
Requires BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 6 years of experience in management consulting or large-scale project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Master’s or other advanced degree
Healthcare/Managed Care experience
Demonstrates thought leadership, innovative tendencies, and ability to execute on strategy through seasoned relationship building, including positive executive level interaction and an ability to engage in difficult conversations
Experienced identifying competitive threats, defensive measures, and supporting the development of future strategic response and innovation options
Demonstrated experience contributing to the analysis of company needs and supporting the growth of business strategies
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Project Management experience
