Position: Associate Manager Behavioral Health Clinical Services Location: Chesapeake, VA office Shift: Shift schedule is TBD, the role will include evenings and weekends

The Associate Manager Behavioral Health Clinical Services provides oversight of the behavioral health clinical call center representatives who provide 24/7 Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance services to approximately 10 million lives to support our Military One Source contract. Military One Source offers all active-duty service members and their family non-medical counseling services free of charge, such as stress management, decision making, communication, grief, blended-family issues, and parenting-skills.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides day-to-day oversight, including benching of cases with staff, auditing to monitor efficiency and compliance with policies, and conducting daily rounds.

  • Facilities and participates in staff training.

  • Acts as a liaison with internal departments.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

  • Participates in staff meetings and clinical conferences.

  • Ensures that performance guarantees are met or exceeded.

  • Interfaces with external and internal customers to ensure optimal efficiency of service.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Master's degree in a mental health or social service field required; 5 years behavioral healthcare experience required; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

  • Licensure: Current unrestricted clinical license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC required
