Manager, Network Relations
Location: Cerritos, CA:
Oversees activities related to the development and maintenance of the company's physician and provider delivery system through provider relations representatives. May also oversee contract implementation functions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Manages provider relations issue resolution, provider education/orientation, evaluation of network adequacy, recruitment and marketing related to providers. • Oversees processes for communication and complaint resolution between physicians, hospitals, members, and the public. • Manages the work flow of the provider relations area and has budget accountability. • Acts as a liaison to ensure that all internal and external stakeholders are effectively informed. • Monitors team activities to assure staff meets performance standards and is operating effectively and efficiently; resolves escalated issues. • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BS/BA degree in business or related health field; 3 years of provider relations experience; 3 years leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
