Care Management Ops Director – Maternal Child Services
Responsible for directing, developing, and refining the activities to support the Maternal Child Services Maternity Management model/program to enhance the overall quality of care and customer satisfaction.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provides women’s health and maternal health subject matter expertise for women’s health and maternity program, outreach, and education development.
Provides oversight of the Maternal Child Services Case Management program.
Evaluates and implements solutions and strategies to support program activities.
Directs the operations of the program activities.
Acts as a subject matter expert aggregating, monitoring, and assessing metrics to meet goals.
Establishes and maintains quality service standards.
Oversees the development and implementation of new programs, processes, and practices in response to medical, operational, service, and local/regional regulatory initiatives.
Applies innovation in the development and management of systems and processes, which meet or exceed established performance goals at expected cost levels. Identifies market place and regional opportunities/needs and technologies.
Develops and manages the program in accordance with the annual operating budget/financial objectives and in a manner which ensures that both service and cost of care goals are met.
Requires a BS in nursing or business
5 years of management experience in a health care environment including case management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) required.
MS or post graduate work in nursing, business or healthcare-related field and/or Medicaid experience preferred.
