This position can be filled at Systems Analyst I, II, or Sr level. The hiring manager will determine the level, based on the candidate’s experience and background.

Senior Systems Analyst

Responsible for defining and managing the scope of business systems projects. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.

  • Construct and maintain communication channels through SOAP and REST integration between the front end, middleware and backend layers.

  • Analyzes and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements. Understands the product and analytics and drive requirements that take into account stakeholders needs. Identifies problems/risks Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results. Understand testing best practices.

  • Designs and definines high level architecture that leverages PEGA components along with client technology stack to ensure the most efficient fulfillment of the business requirements and vision.

  • Ensure accurate information is fed for Business Reports throug the use of SQL Server and Oracle databases.

  • Provides support in Defect triaging and suggest alternative approaches for the fix or solving business problems.

  • Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.

Systems Analyst II

Responsible for assisting in defining the project scope, and managing the defined scope. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Defines the functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system serves as a business subject matter expert, and act as a liaison between the business and IT.

  • Provides the link between the technical and the business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.

  • Construct and maintain communication channels between the front end, middleware and backend layers.

  • Assists in designing and defining High-level Architecture that leverages PEGA components along with external applications/components in the client technology stack to ensure the most efficient fulfillment of the business requirements.

  • Provides analysis of efficiencies related to system enhancements/automation.

  • Works with IT learning organization to assist in the development of system training documentation and provides training to end users.

  • Assists with developing use cases.

Systems Analyst I

Responsible for the definition of the functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Defines both the functional and non-functional requirements of a system and acts as a liaison between the business and IT.

  • Assist in the construction and maintainence of communication channels between the front end, middleware and backend layers

  • Assists in the translation of the business requirements into implementation details and ensures design meets performance, usability, reliability and scalability requirements in addition to the functional requirements.

  • Provides support during the integration and acceptance testing phases and implementation of PEGA related efforts.

  • Provides training and procedure development support to operational projects as requested.

Qualifications

Senior Systems Analyst Requirements & Preferred Requirements

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience with documenting requirements and/or building test cases for a variety of technologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience testing/product quality processes tools and methods strongly preferred.

  • Project management experience and training in facilitation strongly preferred.

  • Multi database, multi-language or multi business application experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience on PEGA based applications preferred.

  • Experience with SQL is preferred

Systems Analyst II Requirements & Preferred Requirements

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study with a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Multi database, multi-language or multi business application experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience on PEGA based applications preferred.

  • Experience with SQL is preferred

Systems Analyst I Requirements & Preferred Requirements

  • Requires AA/AS degree in computer science or information systems or related field of study.

  • One-year experience systems engineering, system testing or systems analysis experience strongly preferred.

  • Multi database, multi-language or multi business application experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience on PEGA based applications preferred.

  • Experience with SQL is preferred
