This position must be located in our Atlanta, GA office or Indianapolis, IN office and is not a remote role.
This position is responsible for providing financial leadership, decision support and strategic direction to support the Information & Digital Technology’s senior management team's achievement of their strategic plan, with $2.6B in operating expenses tied to both lights on run costs and investments in key strategic initiatives that have Enterprise impact to all P&Ls.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Partners with senior planning leaders and executive leadership to create a sound multi-year plan with clear planning assumptions and accurate financial insights for the Information & Digital Technologies functions
Ensures clarity and transparency on the value proposition of Information & Digital Technologies capabilities, including, but not limited to, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Strategy, Agile, DevOps, etc.
Drives the financial modeling for Information & Digital Technologies strategic initiatives, leveraging business case processes that ensure investments are driven by value to the Enterprise
Partners with Sourcing on vendor assessments to ensure financial impacts of vendor contracts are clear and easy to understand and support the business decisions
Drives the development of processes designed to create transparency on cost structure, with linkage to consumption of services and performance, with critical focus on key drivers of spend, allowing for benchmarking and trend analysis of IT costs, enabling Information & Digital Technology leaders to make fact based decisions for cost and performance optimization
Create and present extremely high quality presentations to senior executives
Responsible for coaching and mentoring other team members to ensure collaborative environment
Qualifications: Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; 10+ years of progressively more responsible experience in a high level financial analysis position - financial reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic and tactical planning; prior management experience as well as significant experience working with senior leaders is required. MBA and/or Technology Business Management (TBM) certification preferred.
Experience working in a technology environment, either supporting a technology group or working in a technology company. Has sound understanding of IT disciplines e.g., infrastructure, servers, networks, databases, applications, etc. with understanding of SW/HW acquisitions, maintenance, cloud strategies, digitized processes, artificial intelligence, is required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical and “connect-the-dots” thinking, with attention to detail. Well-rounded people skills and strong relationship management skills. Comfort with ambiguity. Self-starter, must have comfort with virtual and office work settings. Sound critical thinking skills with an eye for detail.
