Clinical Quality Program Director -Statewide California (In office preferred)
Responsible for developing and executing statewide quality improvement strategy and interventions for Medicaid line of business. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Facilitates and provides structure for statewide qualitymeetings.
Develops and facilitates the integration of a nationalstatewide quality plan.
Facilitates the ongoing monitoring of statewideinterventions to improve quality scores.
Identifies and integrates best practices into stateprograms.
Develops performance improvement plans and oversees theclinical quality improvement activities/projects.
Participates in the development, management, review andreporting of program outcomes for clinical quality programs.
Assures compliance with statewide Quality Improvementwork plans.
Ensures research program documentation meets regulatoryand Accreditation Standards.
Assures accurate and complete quantitative analysis ofclinical data.
Leads department meetings and projects.
Prepares and presents program documents to management.
At least 50% travel within the state of California.
Requiresa BS in health administration, nursing or a related clinical field.
5years of health care quality or data analysis experience; or an equivalentcombination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalentbackground.
Currentunrestricted license or certification in an applicable field (i.e. CPHQ) or MSin the health field (i.e. Nursing).
Knowledgeof state or assigned line of business needs and priority improvement areasrequired.
ProjectManagement experience preferred.
SixSigma or Lean Sigma certified preferred.
Managedcare experience preferred.
