Location: Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Reston, Arlington) - the selected candidate must live in Northern Virginia
Total compensation (base + commission) is approximately $105K at target. Company generated leads and marketing support is provided. Mileage reimbursement. Also provided Company Laptop, Cellular, and IPad.
The Field Sales & Service Rep is responsible for identifying and generating leads from a variety of source including networking, physician and pharmacy referrals, grassroots sources as well as from member referrals on prospective Medicare-eligible members. Also explains the features and benefits of the available products in that marketplace and enrolls the prospects into a product that best fits their needs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Represent CareMore at community/employer/company-sponsored events to promote the company, raise awareness and generate leads.
Record, report and maintain lead disposition status using appropriate tools.
Meet monthly sales goal for an assigned territory through the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan.
Delivering formal sales presentations to consumer groups, arranging private appointments in the customers' homes, making outbound phone calls to prospects, and managing customer records in the automated lead tracking system according to the departments standards.
Identify opportunities within the territory to generate leads, in addition to those provided by the company, through building relationships with contracted medical providers, senior organizations and other community leaders and educating these groups about Senior Services products.
Cross sell specified products from other departments.
Submit completed enrollment applications.
Provide member retention services to existing customers.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Requires a high school diploma; BA/BS preferred
3 years of direct sales or marketing experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred 1-2 years of experience selling Medicare Advantage products or similar.
Life & Health license a plus or obtained after 30 days upon hire.
Entrepreneurial mindset; independent & energetic thinker a must.
Must be skilled at connecting and networking.
Strong PC and keying skills required.
Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills required.
Must possess reliable transportation; travel up to 75% within assigned territory required.
May require occasional overnight travel, as well as evening and weekend hours as necessary.
Experience working with the Medicare population highly preferred.
Bi-lingual skills in a plus!
