Responsible for development and implementation of strategy and tactics necessary to ensure successful delivery of large scale initiatives in support of the Enterprise Initiatives Execution Organization.These dedicated Execution Leaders will lead one of Anthem’s product strategies through agile execution. These leaders will be responsible for developing foundational capabilities, working across multiple business unit and product lines, focusing on delivery new technologies, changing underlying system infrastructure and business processes supporting standardizing options across markets. These leaders will lead a team of Agile Product Owners and large execution teams.

The program is underway leveraging an Agile methodology, identifying synergies with highly correlated initiatives and aligning with dependent initiatives to deliver iteratively to optimize timing and value.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: * Facilitates the connection between our business units as required to fulfill key business strategies and ensure planned returns on investment. * Supports Transformational Office on portfolio funding and oversees progress towards goals by developing key performance indicators (KPIs). * Leads development of execution plan to realize successful delivery of business strategy as defined with a well-designed strategy that aligns with the requirements. * Oversees implementation approach in support of our strategy. * Accountable for delivery and ensuring execution of business strategy and outlined requirements. * Ensures deliverables (programs, tools, processes, training, communications etc.) are successfully executed within established budget parameters. * Provides change leadership in support of rollout of program specific processes and solution to key stakeholders. * Successful adoption of new processes and solutions by stakeholders. * Ensures proper ongoing communication regarding program execution and status by providing frequent updates, accurate budget planning that takes into account efficiencies through better leveraging requirements across the enterprise while championing the appropriate level of funding in order to successfully deliver against the outlined strategy and programs. * Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires a BS/BA degree in a related field; 10 years of management experience in health plan functions end-to-end (particularly claim, network management, and medical management), strategic thinking and tactical execution; 5 years of experience leading enterprise business transformations including large programs and multi-disciplinary teams; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Heavy execution accountability and skill sets and in depth experience is critical.Master’s degree preferred. Understanding of health plan mission critical technologies / IT landscape, strongly preferred. Ability to travel is required.
